Job Description:
MUST BE QUICKBOOKS POWER USER AND HAVE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH
EDI. The controller position is accountable for the accounting
operations of the company, to include the production of periodic
financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting
records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed
to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported
financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with
generally accepted accounting principles or international financial
reporting standards. The controller will be accountable for daily
accounting, A/R, A/P, EDI transactions, verifying transactions from
warehouse management software (Fishbowl), bank reconciliations, and
cash flow planning. The controller will work with distribution
center operations staff and the Fishbowl inventory/order/tracking
system.
