Click here to view a brief video and learn more about our Aurora Campus: https://youtu.be/YNuZN0vyzHgRaytheon IIS is looking for an individual to join the Cyber Security Engineering team for a Cyber Security position in Information Assurance supporting the development/maintenance of custom solutions and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities.This position is located in Aurora, Colorado.Must be a U.S. CITIZEN with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance and agree to be subject to a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph examinationKey responsibilities include:Planning, scheduling, and executing Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activitiesSecurity compliance & vulnerability scanning/remediation across multiple platforms and networksPreparing for, supporting and/or leading Security Test & Evaluation activities for program sell-off of security related requirementsApplying knowledge of current IA policies as a contributor to the architecture and design of secure solutions to customer needs and requirementsPerforming hands-on technical implementation of security solutions comprised of COTS & FOSS as well as custom-developed productsPreparing for, writing, and presenting trade studies, cost benefit analyses, reports and briefings as requiredRequired Skills: Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance and agree to submit to a CI poly Six years of developing cyber security solutions, Security Authorization requirements, and security policy and emerging cyber security technologies for Department of Defense (DoD) or similar federal agencyExperience with cyber security engineering projects and programs for U.S. Government and/or commercial clientsStrong understanding of security design and architecture with ability to develop solutions to moderately complex IS compliance and security problemsExperience using security compliance/vulnerability assessment scanning toolHands-on technical experience as an individual contributor with documentation skills and experience in some of the following areas:Linux system administrationWindows system administrationNetwork component administrationVMware administrationOperating system hardeningAssessment and Authorization (NIST SP800-37, ICD 503)Developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and all supporting assessment and authorization documentationExperience performing vulnerability assessment/remediation including the coordination or performance of patch/configuration deployments across multiple platformsDemonstrated leadership experience with excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written & oral communication skills, including presentation skillsSecurity Certification in accordance to DoD 8570.01 IAT-II or higher (e.g. Security+ CE, SSCP, etc.; CISSP is preferable)Desired Skills: Experience in systems engineering, life-cycle management, & engineering change proposal processesExperience planning, scheduling, and executing Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities, including the development of System Security Plans (SSP) and other supporting documentation (SP800-37, ICD503 preferred)Experience and knowledge in onboarding, tuning and implementing enterprise security solutions (Tenable Security Center and Nessus, RSA NetWitness Security Analytics, and the DoD---s HBSS solution)COTS and FOSS patch management/deployment experienceExperience with highly ---matrixed--- organizationsAbility to establish tasks and objectives with Lead Engineers and ensure the entire team understands and can work towards the vision and objectivesPrevious experience in Verification and Validation, and Assessment and AuthorizationExperience in proactively analyzing and resolving problems relating to operational considerations, engineering drawings and associated hardware in relation to repair activitiesEducation Requirements: Bachelor---s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics (STEM Degree) with 6 or more years of relevant experience - or Masters / PhD in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics (STEM Degree) with 4 or more years of relevant experienceThis position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. 149038Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
