As the Missile Navigation, Guidance and Controls (NG&C) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead you will define an organization and build a strong team of leaders and individual contributors to plan and successfully execute a portfolio NSP program. You will be deployed to the Missile Program Manager and work closely with him/her to define the Navigation, Guidance and Controls (NG&C) Systems Architecture. You will be responsible for all NG&C design as well as all software design, development, integration and test for a Missile System within an Integrated Weapon System. This Full Spectrum Leader is disciplined in value-driven Software Engineering and drives design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way. As a senior leader you will work closely with your Navy counterpart to field a strategic system. Basic Qualifications: - Technical background in Guidance, Navigation and Controls, model-based software development, and software engineering - Experience with embedded flight software development - Experience leading large- scale technical programs - Demonstrated experience as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead - Demonstrated ability to define and manage to an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) - Demonstrated experience managing large- complex subcontractors - Demonstrated ability to integrate cost, schedule and technical constraints - Risk & Opportunity Management Experience - Demonstrated ability to interact with DOD customers and build effective relationships - Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Desired Skills: - Experience in a Program Start-UP environment - Experience on a Weapon System Program - Experience on a leadership team on a development program - Experience with control account management principles, techniques, and processes, minimum in either a CAM position, or a role with similar experience - Experience as a Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
