Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented individual to perform on a team of cross-discipline specialist engineers located in Aurora, CO with responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following: Development, maintenance and upgrade of operations training materials Coordinate, schedule and perform training efforts to include monthly refresher, upgrade and position certification Conduct training of operations personnel on the system simulator Maintenance of training records for all students to document the evaluation of the student's performance and certification status Creating, initializing, checking out and maintaining upgrades to the simulator scripts required for simulator scenarios used for all operator certification training Achieve and maintain certification as a system operator including all required training and proficiency Availability as an emergency backfill for the crew Supporting the simulator during operational exercises as well as during initial and refresher training and special activities such as system tests and anomaly resolution Perform system problem/anomaly resolution support Development and improvement of operations processes/products Perform investigation and diagnosis of unexpected system signaturesBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) from an accredited institution with5 years of industry experience; Master's degree with 3 years industry experience A demonstrated background in one or more relevant engineering disciplines, an ability to understand complex system architecture, and familiarity with Linux and scripting languages (especially TCL/TK and Perl) Ability to support some travel domestically and internationally Active TS / SCI clearance and Counter Intelligence Polygraph is required Preferred Qualifications: Good presentation, coordination, and communication skills are needed due to significant interaction with factory engineers, management, trainees and the customer The ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision The position is normally day staff hours, but periodic intervals of one-hour recall support and the ability to work odd and/or extended hours covering a 24 x 7 period will be required Real-time operations experience AMP, COAST, Atlantis, and/or RODEO program experience Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
