REQ#: 2019-59450Job DescriptionGDIT is looking for a configuration analyst associate to work configuration managment tasks within a fast paced contract. Configuration management responsiblities include:Develop, manage and maintain CM plans and standard operating proceduresIdentify and develop Configuration Item (CI) baselines, maintain CM library, and prepare change requests for Configuration Item updatesManage change control activities for the deployment teamDevelop and maintain an instance maintenance scheduleDevelop and maintain deliverables and work productsReview RFC (request for change) requirements to determine impacts to the contract and provide inputs to the government for approvalSupport emergency/expedited requests as appropriateDevelop metrics to show trends and to assess the effectiveness of CM processes and proceduresParticipate in special projects as required.Requires a TS/SCI clearance with a adjuticated polygraph examinationEducationBA/BS in Information Technology, Business or a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.Qualifications0+Experience with identifying configuration items, implementing change control, and configuration auditsKnowledge of implementing CM discipline for the entire lifecycle of systems from initial requirements and capabilities baselines to system end-of-life Experience with applying concepts and analyze and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and proceduresExperience in working with teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines, including development, test, and production, track all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes, control standard operating procedures, and current configurationsGeneral Dynamics Information Technology solves our customers--- challenges through future-focused technology and services, ingenuity and deep mission-knowledge.
