Industrial Sales Representative

The Technical Sales and Service Representative is primarily responsible for initiating, managing and developing customer relationships aimed at selling The WellBoss products and services to exploration and production companies, joint venture or project partners of The WellBoss and any other potential customers that may be developed. This role is also responsible for performing product installation at the field level as required.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of potential customers, their current needs, and The WellBoss ability to meet those needs.
  • Ability to recognize the best fit product for a potential client through understanding of their current operations.
  • Create value of The WellBoss's products over other products on the market to potential customer.
  • Establish quotes prior to meeting with customer in order to provide the customer with an idea of what different products may cost them overall.
  • Close sales and establish new accounts
  • Maintain current accounts by confirming all current services being offered are still a good fit and the company is pleased with the products and services provided.
  • Knowledge of current drilling areas / formations, wellbore designs in these areas / formations and what type of completions are being performed on those wells.
  • Research potential customer past drills and production on those wells to determine whether The WellBoss could offer re-work tools.
  • Conduct Lunch and Learns in order to create awareness of products and usage.
  • Create slide show presentations of products in order to have the ability to provide a more formal meeting type. Create a customizable presentation to be able to update quickly with customers information.
  • Maintain sales reports for management team.
  • Respond to sales inquiries, emails, and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of competitor's products and services.
  • Provide additional vendor's contact information for customers in order to assist with complete process if necessary.
  • Attend trade shows in order to provide company presence and awareness, as well as seek out new opportunities.
  • Speak with at least 15 contacts each week, whether in person, via email, phone visit.
  • Touch base with current accounts at least once a week either by phone, email, breakfast delivery or lunch to consistently stay in front of the customer's face.
  • Send out at least 3 quotes per week to potential new customers to give them an example of what The WellBoss could provide for them.
  • Spend at least 2 hours per week developing sales tactics - practicing phone calls, leaving voicemails, presenting products as well as practicing going over quotes with customers.
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Ensure and create an understanding of a strategic and tactical plan for achieving the objectives of The WellBoss in conjunction with senior management.
  • Provides timely feedback and updates to senior management regarding performance and client interaction.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Maintains constant contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceeds all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, and presentations.
  • At all times act to represent The WellBoss and its best interests to the U.S. downstream oil and gas industry and community at large.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Understand and comply with all Company Quality/Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Participates in Continual Improvement by reporting all unsafe or potentially hazardous situations through the existing reporting system.

    • Bachelor's degree in industry related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales.
    • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier and Customer Relationship Management.
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
    • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
    • Exemplary personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
